We've covered the race in the 16th Congressional District before, which pits incumbent Republican Adam Kinzinger against Ghostbusters' fan David Hale. You might remember David Hale from his off-putting smile and his invocation of the Tea Party Holy Trinity: Paul Ryan, Rand Paul, and Ronald Reagan.
Today, Kinzinger's campaign released the ad embedded above called " Servant Leadership".
Illinois Review is reporting that the ad will run across the district and should help put Kinzinger in a good spot to win the primary.
It will air in the Chicago, Rockford, Peoria, Champaign-Springfield, and Davenport media markets.Let's think about this for a minute. If we want the ILGOP to succeed and move ahead, doesn't it follow that we need more Adam Kinzinger's in Congress. Not less?
Let's talk about Adam, shall we?
1. Air Force pilot who served in Iraq and Afganistan. Check.
2. Member of the Energy and Commerce Committee in DC. Check.
3. Washington Post labeling him as: "a poster boy for the new breed of conservatives who are eager to wipe out government waste and inefficiency – no matter where they find it.” Check.
Sounds like a guy we need representing Illinois in Washington DC to us.
