We can't let this misery go on any longer. Join us in sending Illinois Governor Pat Quinn a message that a stunt he makes, we can one-up.
Let's send him more than a message, though. Let's start sending him graham crackers!
By doing so, we can start to end this charade as pointed out by Kristen McQueary at the Chicago Tribune:
Quinn is a 65-year-old single man with grown children who earns at least $163,000 a year in taxpayer-funded wages. He has a taxpayer-subsidized, generous pension to rely upon, a comfortable home and access to the governor's mansion and a chef. He has a driver who warms up the car in the winter and drops him curbside. He has a team of aides to deal with the nuisances of his day-to-day duties. Quinn's struggles are about as far from the working poor as you can find.
